What drives me

  • The relationship with customers and employees is very important to me. We can only be successful if we focus on the customer’s wishes and have and exemplify appreciation for all employees.
  • During my career and as a production manager, I have managed skilled workers of different nationalities and worked with both customers and service technicians in managerial positions in complaints and quality management.
These positions have taught me to want to see things with my own eyes and not to judge situations lightly.
  • As a company and as a society – especially with regards to  decarbonization – we will only be successful if we manage to keep four working generations motivated in one company.
“Boomers, Generation X, Y and Zoomers* have very different qualifications, but they complement each other well. We need to utilize this potential with the help of technology and social interaction.”

*: Explanation of the generations currently being in active employment:

  • Baby boomers, born between 1946 and 1964, were the first post-war generation after the Second World War, experienced the economic miracle and belong to the generation with the highest birth rate.
  • Generation X, born between 1965 and 1979, also known as Generation Golf, was strongly influenced in its childhood by the economic crisis and an increasing divorce rate.
  • Generation Y, born between 1980 and 1993, also known as Gen Y or Millennials, have already consciously experienced the turn of the millennium and have also experienced the internet boom and globalization to the full. In contrast to the previous generations, they are characterized by a high level of education.
  • Generation Z or Zoomers, born between 1994 and 2010, also known as Generation YouTube, have already fully integrated the digitalization of everyday life into their lives.
